Papermakers win 2016-17 GLHL Tournament

The Mosinee Papermakers won the 2017 Great Lakes Hockey League tournament with a 1-0 victory over the host West Bend Bombers.

The Papermakers were the tournament's No. 2 seed, and had to contend with a passionate home crowd for the Bombers, who won the 2016-17 regular season. The win ends a two-year streak for the Portage Lake Pioneers.
